Candida Overgrowth

Candida, a frequent sequel to antibiotic/steroid use, is the most common type of yeast infection, found in the intestinal tract, mouth and vagina. When your immune system is functioning optimally this infection is rarely a problem. If your immune system is not functioning optimally, the candida infection can spread to other areas of the body such as the intestinal lining, blood stream and membranes around the heart and brain. If the candida grows out of control it can create problems throughout your entire body. Candida is linked to increased feeling of physical exhaustion, an inability to lose weight, anxiety, irritability, depression, food allergy onset, recurring yeast infections and urinary tract infections, sinus infections, brain fog, hormonal imbalances and skin/nail fungal infections.
